More households cook with LP gas every year, and most of it is sold from small refill booths. We are building the tools those booths and their head offices deserve.
LP gas is now part of daily life in Zimbabwe. Families switched to it because electricity is costly and unreliable, and booths opened in every suburb to meet the demand.
But behind each booth is the same picture: a sales book, a calculator, a WhatsApp group and a manager who only finds out about a problem days later. Gas goes missing, cash is short, and nobody can say exactly where.
Refilla gives booth staff a phone app that is quicker than the book, and gives head office a live, honest view of the whole network. It is built in Zimbabwe, for Zimbabwe's gas retailers.
We are inviting a small number of LP gas companies in Harare to run Refilla on a few booths, with setup and training on site.
